Brochs, Viking Longhouses and Picts

Shetland’s Archaeology is exceptional.  There is evidence of our ancestors from 6,000 years ago until present and it is incredibly well preserved.  Over the last 20 years we have found out a huge amount of new information, discovered and excavated new sites and have rewritten what we know about Scottish Archaeology as a result.

Shetland’s own Regional Archaeologist, Val Turner, will present some of the highlights, and answer your questions about your earliest ancestors.
