Fetlar Interpretive Centre
The Fetlar Intepretive Centre is an award-winning community museum, with a wide range of local exhibitions and interactive presentations on Fetlar’s wildlife, society, history, archaeology, culture and geology.
The Interpretive Centre has an ongoing archival project, and extensive databases on the genealogy and birdlife of the island. Information is available in French, German, Italian and Dutch.
Visitor Information
The island of Fetlar is accessible by ferry. The ferry to the island runs daily from the island of Yell. Yell can be accessed by ferry from Toft on the north mainland.
