Guided Walk - Weisdale to Lunklett
Shetland Field Studies Group organises a series of guided walks for their members and the general public. Hamefarers are invited to join the Group on a walk around Weisdale, following in the steps of John J Graham's Shadowed Valley, a novel based on the Weisdale clearances.
This walk requires a reasonable level of fitness as there are several steep sections and areas of dense heather. The walk is approximately 6 miles long.
Participants should meet at the Shetland Tourist Office, Market Cross, Lerwick at 9.00am where you will be met by your guide and the minibus. Alternatively, participants can choose to meet at the starting point of the walk which will be advised.
