Local Area Coach Trip - Papa Stour

The programme of local area coach trips will provide Hamefarers with an opportunity to tour Shetland, taking in the scenery and popular visitor attractions. In addition, local history groups will be on hand to discuss family history and chat about the area in more detail. Members of the history groups will also be willing to take Hamefarers to old family steadings/ruins.
Members of the Papa Stour History Group will welcome Hamefarers to the isle offering guided walks and sharing information.
There will be ample time to visit the Papa Stour Kirk where there will be displays in the small interpretative centre. Members of the history group and local community will be available to answer any questions. Maps and postcards of the isle will be on sale.
It is recommended that folk where stout walking shoes and warm clothing.

The coach will depart from Islesburgh Community Centre, Lerwick at approx 8.00am and return at approx 4.30pm. Lunch will be provided.
