A Young Man's Vision - 200 years of Shetland Methodism

Drop in to the Lerwick Methodist Church and see an exhibition of documents and photos from the 190 years of Methodism in Shetland.  Tea, coffee and homebakes will also be available.

The exhibition will be opened with a talk by Frank Robertson on Early Methodism in Shetland at 7pm on Thursday 17 June, followed by 8 o'clocks.

On Thursday 24 June, Lerwick Methodist Church is also arranging a special visit to Gruting to John Nicolson's grave followed by lunch in the Walls Chapel.  In the afternoon, visit Quinsetter (birth place of John Nicolson) followed by tea in the Gonfirth Chapel.  To book a place on the trip, please call along the Lerwick Methodist Church, Hillhead, Lerwick during the exhibition to make arrangements.
