Unst Boat Haven

Unst Boat HavenThe Unst Boat Haven is an attractive and informative museum located on the island of Unst, which is the most northerly inhabited island in the UK. The Boat Haven is housed in a purpose-built building and is home to a wide range of exhibits, including real and model boats, fishing charts, photos and wildlife exhibits.

The Boat Haven features a replica shingle beach and shoreline, and many tools and artefacts relating to fishing and sailing are displayed.

Visitor Information

The island of Unst is accessible by ferry from the island of Yell. Yell can be accessed by ferry from Toft in the north mainland.
